DANONE: a sharp growth in productivity and crew commitment

Our factory in Bieruń is now recognized as a master and achieves some of the best business results (productivity, profitability, quality) of all DANONE plants in Europe, and also stands out in terms of crew commitment. All line managers developed and implemented very specific change projects, while involving other employees in their formulation and implementation. Thanks to this, they not only developed their skills in leading people and project management, but most of all they began to take responsibility for decisions and actions they take – including ad hoc ones.

In our company, in order to strengthen the role and competences of managers and line leaders, we decided to launch the “I LEAD” project, which was initially aimed at developing the leadership competences necessary in managing operational employees. However, Janusz Kamieński proposed and implemented with his team a development project addressed to the line managers of the DANONE factory in Bieruń and their superiors, which was closely related to the company’s business needs.

The method used by Janusz, combining Customer Experience Management, Lean Management and the development of leadership skills, has brought excellent results. Our managers, during the learning process, immediately used many of management tools (PSG / A3 or “root-cause analysis”). The key value of the project proposed to us by Executive Conversation (currently Strategy & Results) was the preparation and implementation by each of the participants of their own optimization project. All projects were implemented, and their effects significantly exceeded expectations and assumed goals. I highly recommend the services offered by Janusz Kamieński and his team.
